STAR Takes its Brand to New Heights

Recently, Star re-launched its brand after nearly two decades of being known as Star Exhibits & Environments. The new brand reflects a smaller name, simply put “Star,” with a bigger vision. While creating exceptional exhibits and environments is still an important part of the company’s capabilities, Star has been resolutely elevating its role as a key marketing partner to its clients. Creating high-level strategic campaigns, managing star-studded events for world-renowned brands, growing a thriving international network of clients, creating engaging digital solutions and taking a robust approach to program measurement are a few examples of how Star’s portfolio of has evolved. A shorter name, along with a new tagline, Engage–Connect–Convert, was ready for prime time.

Everyone knows it’s no small undertaking to make a significant brand change, but for Star, it was critical that the launch start with its most valuable resource–it’s 75 employees. “We’ve been successful because of the passion and dedication of the people who work at Star,” claims CEO and owner Mark Johnson. “That led me to the realization of employee pride. I want each Star employee to be so proud of their work, they’d be willing to personally sign it.”

The first order of business was to unveil the new brand to all employees in typical Star Fashion—engaging.
