The Exhibit Designers and Producers Association (EDPA) has recognized Justin Dworak as Designer of the Year for his innovative designs and his contribution to enhancing the professional standards of all exhibit designers. EDPA, an international association, represents those involved in the design, manufacture, transport, installation and service of displays and exhibits across the world. Thousands of designers create exhibits each year, but only one is selected as EDPA’s Exhibit Designer of the Year. Dworak was named 2012 Designer of the Year at EDPA’s annual conference and showcase on November 29 in Palm Springs, California. EDPA selected Dworak based on his passion for the design industry, his creativity and his ability to mentor young designers.
As the Creative Director at Star, Dworak represents his passion for design and natural leadership abilities through all elements of his work, including the generous amount of time he spends volunteering for the Bemidji State University (BSU) Exhibit Design Program. As a BSU graduate himself, Dworak believes in giving back to the program that helped him become the talent he is today.
Dworak’s reverence for design is best demonstrated by his fifteen years of dedication to Star and the Exhibit Design Industry. One of the biggest testaments to Justin’s abilities and integrity is his long list of standing clients who gravitate toward him for his credibility alone. Justin has used design to tell the story and be the brand anchor to company brands such as Target, Craftsman, Emerson, Mall of America, Pearson, Valspar, and Pella Corporation, among others.
Dworak’s award nomination was the collective effort of industry colleagues.
