This being my first time attending HIMSS - I was excited to hit the show floor running with my coworker, Mackenzie Enter as she shared her previous experience at HIMSS. In the ever so changing exhibitor world, here are 3 trends we noticed during this event.

 

HIMSS 2017

“ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED”

Drawing in the crowds through entertainment has become a huge trend. More engaging acts by companies including magic, games, psychics, and contests – all incorporating company sales pitch into act/presentation.

“CHALLENGE ACCEPTED” 

The step and fitness tracker challenges were a hit! These activities helped get people engaged and interacting with others. It also provided a kick-start to the day, friendly competition, and a great conversation starter. Fitbit prizes were available at the end of each day for participants with the most steps. Who doesn't love competition?
